T4tone is the managed AI dubbing service of T4toon.sas, a Versailles studio founded in 2018. It is a coproduction for multi-language localization: AI generates the voice, native-speaking reviewers validate every line in T4edit, and T4toon runs the pipeline. It is not a self-serve software subscription.
It means a dubbed track that can hold for a feature or a series — consistent characters, emotional continuity, cleared or licensed voices, and human QA. A 15-second viral AI clip is a different product. T4tone is built for long-form production, not demo re-rolls.
Software gives you a login and leaves quality to you. T4tone is a coproduction partner: we first understand the project and the director, choose a legal voice path, generate at production scale, then have native freelancers correct pacing, breath, and cultural nuance. You are not left alone with bad takes.
Baseline pricing is €1,000 per standard 60 minutes of content, full service — about €16.6 per minute. Highly complex work such as multi-language mixes or musical animation may need a tailored editing quote. T4edit platform access is priced separately.

We use the call to understand the film, the director, target languages, runtime, and whether we can clone a cleared voice or should use Apache 2.0 licensed voices. Production work is quoted from the published €1,000 / 60-minute baseline after that conversation.

T4tone is built around compliance by design. The EU AI Act sets transparency rules for deepfakes and voice cloning, notably Articles 50 and 52. We settle rights before generation. If actor or agency voice-print permission is missing, we use Apache 2.0 licensed voices instead of cloning.
We switch to a library of legally vetted Apache 2.0 licensed voice models. That path is intended to avoid copyright and biometric infringement and is included in the all-in service price. Which path applies is confirmed on the free consultation.

The pipeline covers children’s animation through grounded adult drama. It starts with a free video consultation — not a self-serve upload. We discuss title, runtime, languages, rights, and director notes. Then we set the voice path, generate with AI, and validate line by line in T4edit with native-speaking reviewers before full-service delivery.
T4edit is T4toon’s browser-based collaborative engine for AI dubbing. Native-speaking freelancers use it to adjust AI takes. Studios can also license T4edit as SaaS or commission custom APIs and plugins. If you do not want to run the tool or the freelancers yourself, T4tone is the fully managed coproduction.
