Pricing, voice rights, and how a T4tone production starts.
Most questions below are about T4tone, because that is the published rate card. Post-production and T4edit are quoted on the same contact form — pick the matching line.
T4tone is the managed AI dubbing service of T4toon.sas, a Versailles studio founded in 2018. It is a turnkey production service for multi-language localization: we set the dubbing style to the title, AI generates the voice, native-speaking reviewers validate every line in T4edit, and T4toon runs the pipeline. It is not a self-serve software subscription.
It means a dubbed track that can hold for a feature or a series — consistent characters, emotional continuity, cleared or licensed voices, and human QA. A 15-second viral AI clip is a different product. T4tone is built for long-form production, not demo re-rolls.
Software gives you a login and a preset. T4tone is a managed production service: we set the dubbing style to the title — director notes, genre, runtime, and rights — then generate at production scale and have native reviewers correct every line in T4edit. You provide the source files; we deliver the broadcast-ready mix, including the EU AI Act legal voice path.
The published vendor rate is €1,000 per standard 60 minutes of content, full service — about €16.6 per minute. The minimum order is one hour. You keep 100% of IP and distribution rights. Titles shorter than one hour are quoted on consultation, always below that hourly rate. Festival trailers and screeners under two minutes have a separate €100 cashback offer on the pricing page. Partnership options are available on request. Multi-language mixes or musical animation may need a tailored quote. Post-production and T4edit platform access are quoted separately.
One hour of content at the published vendor rate of €1,000 per 60 minutes (about €16.6 per minute), full service. That hour is the baseline we confirm on the free consultation.

Yes. Trailers and screeners under two minutes can be dubbed at €100, with native-speaker QA in T4edit. If full-title T4tone production starts within the same calendar year, that €100 is credited back against the production fee, so the screener is effectively free. This is a market-screener offer, not the hourly rate for a title. Book it on the consultation form.
Yes. The video consultation is free. Send the form on the consultation page; we reply within 24 hours. We use the call to understand the film, the director, target languages, runtime, and whether we can clone a cleared voice or should use Apache 2.0 licensed voices. Production work is quoted from the published €1,000 / 60-minute baseline after that conversation.

T4tone is built around compliance by design. The EU AI Act sets transparency rules for deepfakes and voice cloning, notably Articles 50 and 52. We settle rights before generation. If actor or agency voice-print permission is missing, we use Apache 2.0 licensed voices instead of cloning.
We switch to a library of legally vetted Apache 2.0 licensed voice models. That path is intended to avoid copyright and biometric infringement and is included in the all-in service price. Which path applies is confirmed on the free consultation.

It starts with a free video consultation — not a self-serve upload. We discuss title, runtime, languages, rights, and director notes so we can set the dubbing style for that project. Then we set the voice path, generate with AI, and validate line by line in T4edit with native-speaking reviewers before full-service delivery.
T4edit is T4toon’s software line: a browser-based collaborative engine for AI dubbing. Native-speaking freelancers on T4tone jobs use it to adjust AI takes. Studios can also license T4edit as SaaS or commission custom APIs and plugins. If you do not want to run the tool or the freelancers yourself, choose T4tone, the fully managed production service.

T4toon does not run a public YouTube channel because it does not own or license the picture. Publishing a dubbed clip on YouTube would require image rights T4tone does not have. Longer samples — long enough to hear whether a voice holds — are linked from https://www.t4toon.com/#demos, not hosted as short public videos.
